Abstract:
Continuous development of information technology (IT) and increasing speed of data transfers enable building dedicated information centers aiming at serving businesses and individuals. The idea of collecting and processing data for many companies and individuals in the above-mentioned centers is called the Cloud Computing (CC). This term refers not only to both computer science and economics but also to environmental protection, which is now becoming a critical mission. Cloud computing is gaining supporters among entrepreneurs mainly due to the increasing popularization of SaaS, virtualization technologies and concept of Web 2.0, which support the described model. This article aims at identifying key factors for the development of services in the Cloud Computing model.
